Congress of Croatian Builders
The Congress of Croatian Builders 2004, organized under the patronage of the Government of the Republic of Croatia, will be held from 22 to 24 April 2004 in the Hotel Croatia in Cavtat.
Most Congress participants are expected to arrive and register in the afternoon hours on Wednesday, April 21, 2004. The Congress will be officially opened on Thursday April 22 at 10 a.m..
In addition to national participants, the Congress 2004 will also be attended by foreign experts wishing to find out more about present developments in Croatian construction industry, or interested in submitting papers with respect to themes set for this Congress. The Organizer invites foreign experts to take an active part in the work of this Congress, as the themes covered are of vital significance for the development of Croatian construction industry, as well as for the national economy and the country in general.
The following activities are planned:
• presentation of papers
- during plenary sessions,
- during sessions focusing on individual themes
• round tables about significant issues covered during the Congress 2004.
During the Congress 2004, domestic and foreign companies may present themselves through appropriate marketing activities and video and film presentations, either during plenary sessions or in form of special marketing/commercial events.
Domestic and foreign companies are also invited to participate in exhibitions which will be staged in a representative covered area (hotel) or in an appropriate open area.
The official language of the Congress 2004 will be Croatian. Translation from English, German, French and Russian languages will be provided for presentations given by foreign participants.
The Congress fee for foreign participants will be 400 EUR. This amount includes:
• participation in all Congress activities,
• bag with the engraved name of the Congress, Congress Proceedings, box with pencil, notepads and written material for the Congress 2004, badge, leaflets, etc.
• icebreaker reception,
• excursions to Dubrovnik and surrounding area, including food,
• transport from airport to hotel and, on the way back, from hotel to airport.
• Congress dinner with an arts and entertainment program.
