Kinematic relationships in the analyses of prestressed reinforced-concrete slabs

Predrag Presečki, Miljenko Kovač, Srečko Pičulin

Abstract

Numerical modelling of load due to prestressing of monolithic reinforced-concrete floor slabs is described. The solution is given for a random shape of cable guiding lines in discrete points, near kinematic connections with joints of individual thin-slab elements. The method was applied during structural analysis for the MTC commercial centre in Cakovec. The modelling of slabs of various thicknesses, involving kinematic condensation of joints, is separately presented. The described method has been incorporated in the original software program called GRAFeM.
